I have a grudging respect for this guy. Sure, he did some scummy things with the raffle, but when he was caught bang to rights, he took the ultimate responsibility for his life, and saved the state millions more dollars in fees.
99
Is it wrong that I imagine with pleasure, this man taking a shotgun blast to the face? It is not the USA's right or duty to impose order on the rest of the world, especially when it is such an unmitigated shithole at home. I can only hope that the rest of the world has the balls to sanction the US as a rogue state.
47
So now he's claiming that they paid a woman extortion money to stop her from making up a story that was unprovable? Come on Donald, you can do better than that. If this is the quality of Giuliani's legal advice, I suggest he starts looking for a new career.
44
Speed is not a high priority for me when evaluating bridge building. Safety is.
36
Personally, I think Stewart is a total hypocrite if his argument was "Who are you to be the moral arbiter" when that's his whole career. Looks to me like Seth was just afraid that Stewart had a better forum for ridiculing him. that makes Stewart a hypocrite AND a bully.
17
Hate to see kids with such terrible conditions. And then the world is wasting trillions on needless wars, bailing out greedy bankers, and picking up after corrupt politicians. Well done to the little guy. I wish him a happy life.
15
I'd like to think its because he didn't want to come across as a hypocrite, but we all know it's simply because Trump is a bitter, petty little shit.
13
These men are not being paraded as anything. A member of their family was murdered, who SHOULD they interview, the local hairdresser?
12
I'm really not a fan of interviewing family members when they're still so close to the event and in so much pain. I know people say it personalises the tragedy, but if people can't empathise with someone whose brother was just murdered by a maniac he never even met, then this is not going to do it.
11
Apparently statements of fact are offensive now.
9
Reagan a great president? You've blown it in your first statement.
9
@erossinema8797 Of course that wasn't why he did it, but he did it nevertheless. A millionaire doesn't get put into those kind of prisons.
8
What a beautiful family. A real tragedy.
8
Because being a lying whore for a madman is exhausting. I'm glad it's making her look haggard. When you betray your nation this badly for you should look like crap.
7
All those chickens coming home to roost. Maybe the fact that he didn't pay at least one of the legal teams representing him, and the fact that he always blames others for his mistakes, and the fact that he's utterly toxic has something to do with it too.
6
I think you're confusing his pleasure at the discomfort of the NRA and scum politicians.
6
Typical slimy politician answers.
6
There was literally NO racist component to that question. Comments like yours are what created the anti-SJW tide that swept Trump to power. Your kind literally created your own nemesis.
5
Get the fuck outta here. Two innocent people were arrested in his store for the crime of waiting. He came on and tried to address it. Moreover, he met with the victims directly. Sounds like he had a massive spine to me. Perhaps he should have left snarky youtube comments instead - that would really have showed his courage right?
5
Yes. I find it hilarious that these people think that they can be as big a scumbag as their hero. He will likely spend the rest of his days in a jail cell. The more of them that join him, the better. Start with Joe Arpaio.
5
Or who is such a panderer to racists that she won't state the reason she knows.
5
And you're a marine? Shouldn't you be humiliating brown people in Abu Gharib? PC culture? Two people were arrested for waiting while black. How the fuck is that PC?
4
I agree completely. Some bitter, cunty old judge who's probably bitter he didn't get chosen for a stage act when he was 8 is gonna spoil Copperfield's entire brand. I hope Copperfield counter-sues the court.
4
Trump should have a conversation with his God? His only gods are money and adoration. He'll lose both if he gives up the presidency. I'd like to see them re-instate stocks in the town square, and a pile of rotten fruit and eggs. one week in Times Square for every week as president, then the rest of his life in jail with Jared and Ivanka for treason.
4
I can see why tariffs are an attractive option - after all, if you're running a nearly 600 billion dollar trade deficit with the rest of the world, it's a simplistic solution to a complex "problem". I absolutely agree that tariffs need to be reciprocal, and I still don't understand why China should get to impose 75% tariffs on American goods, but America should not do the same to them. America has a trade deficit of over 350 billion dollars with China alone, and they are not operating on a level playing field. What is China going to do - refuse a trillion dollars plus worth of trade? That said, I assume there are more complicated nuances to this issue, and bigger picture stuff. I'd love to know what they are because they're not immediately apparent to me.
4
The Democrats have displayed breathtaking ineptitude since the first second Donald declared that he was running. I have 100% confidence in their ability to lose yet again to the greatest monster since McCarthy.
4
No he's not. He's an ordinary man who got lucky with the client of a career, and now he's revelling in all the media attention and stirring the pot at every opportunity. The fact that his opponents are so very dirty and incompetent was a massive gift to him. I detest the man, but at least he's had the wisdom to rein in his smug smirking a bit now.
4
Lewandowski - so full of shit you could fertilise your garden with him.

Roseanne perfectly reflects moron America. She's made dumb choices all her life, has an unattractive personality, and as a result she's poor and she's a Trump voter. It really would have been unrealistic if she'd been a Bernie voter. That said, in light of Trump's victory, it has highlighted just how many of these people exist. The last thing we need is reminding of that painful reality.

I can only assume you misunderstood what I said. Try reading it again.
3
Oh yeah, outta control. Rampaging through the store via the act of sitting.
3
What if he wasn't depressed? What if he simply recognised that his greatest days were behind him and he simply wanted to end life on his terms?
3
NONE of the Republicans work for the public.
3
Surrounded by corrupt cowardly politicians.

The arctic is dismal place to live, but there's no reason why any other nation should get control who gets to stake claims there. Control of the mineral wealth there could enable Russia to threaten the US as a superpower with more than just nukes, but the US has needed to pull its neck in for decades. Not a good sign, but frankly anything that rattles the US makes me happy.

Anderson has a charmingly boyish, unaffected laugh. It's like he never bothered to change himself to look cool during high school. It's a very appealing characteristic.
3
The pattern of blaming others for his failures continues.

What an idiot. The anti-police rhetoric didn't arise out of nowhere - it arose as a result of the way that the police have been abusing their powers and killing people. Sitting there and whining that behaviour of this man's fellow officers have produced a response is like whining that the dog you kicked for decades finally got sick of it and bit you. Where was Clarke when police lied to back each other up? Where was he when the prosecutor was acting AGAINST his own case with Tamir Rice? He's right, it WAS predictable, but because of the RHETORIC, but because of the actions of the police and their enablers. A black working class man speaking at the RNC just about says it all. If he can delude himself that there's a place for him at that table, he can kid himself of anything.
2
He's a total douche. Can't stand the man, but he's getting better at his image now. He's been handed the case of a lifetime, with opponents who are cartoonishly inept. H's playing constant games and enjoying the whole thing to a distasteful degree. He'd better be careful or he'll end up with a polonium umbrella in the leg. Trump doesn't strike me as the kind of man who would accept being humiliated if he could strike back. In fact, his presidency has shown that he's willing to sacrifice EVERYTHING in order to get even. And that was just over a couple of jokes at the Correspondant's dinner!
2
Ah, in that case you're just not very intelligent. My condolences. If building a bridge QUICKLY matters more to you than its ability not to kill you, then I hope you do nothing more important on this planet than stack shelves.
2
Yes, and from what I could see it was a fairly unremarkable looking structure in that regard. I have no complaints about artistry provided it does not come at the expense of structural integrity.
2
But the media are fake news. Riiiight Donnie. You pathetic loser. Mos5t powerful man on the planet and still needs daily fluffing.
2
What a truly lovely human being.
2
Jeez someone's going to jail for that if it's a brand new structure. I can imagine few things more horrific than to be trapped in a car, injured, underneath that still.
2
I think she's just a cheap opportunist. But I hope you're right.
2
Had this been about a secret formula, you would see the weakness in that statement. By revealing this in court, they have literally harmed his brand.
2
I don't think it's a farce at all. Just what Nunberg and Trump have showed us all in terms of behaviour is enough to cause deep concern about their honesty and raise issues of their aptitude to do the jobs they hold.
2
It's easy without having to worry about giving the illusion of democracy.
2
The people you cited are the symptoms. Guns are the disease and the NRA is the disease vector.
