  1. I can't imagine what the officer is going through. Police are NOT trained to run into a shooting situation with someone using that type of weapons, but I can't imagine the officer will ever be forgiven or able to forgive himself. A cop with a handgun was no match for that situation. It doesn't speak well for Trump's ludicrous "trained experts" theory does it?

  2. Of course they're not. That's what SWAT is for. Police are for maintaining order not military situations.
