  1. Trump's presidency has already weakened the US in immeasurable ways that will last for decades. The nation's president and its citizens are held in contempt across the planet by citizens and leaders alike. The planet is working out ways to sideline the US in all future business, or to exploit its president's massive incompetence. Congratulating another dictator after dancing with despots in Saudi Arabia, kissing Duterte's arse, imposing illegal blockades on North Korea, and alienating its allies is pretty small fry. It's impossible to overstate the loss of status that this single presidency has brought to the USA, and the decades it will take, if ever, to repair the damage.
