  1. The issue I have David, is that I could create a doctrine with a single command "Be nice to people and show only love everywhere you go." Then somebody who purports to be a member of my love doctrine goes out and kills people. Is it fair to blame my doctrine for the misapplication by a psycopath? If you're going to claim that this truck murder, or the assassination is a "Muslim" issue, then you need to show a convincing connection between the teachings of Islam, and the actions of its followers.

  2. Grow up Mario, this not the schoolyard. Now please show me where the Quran advocates terrorism against innocent people or suicide attacks. As I understand it, the Quran expressly FORBIDS suicide and it was one of the Ayatollahs who reinterpreted it to make it say that it was desirable. And I never said nor even implied that the Quran said "Be nice to people" (although millions of Muslims see it that way). I was simply using that as an example to show how an ideology could be hijacked.
