I think Dave is being disingenuous if he honestly believes that allowing people to talk unchallenged will always reveal their true feelings, or that an audience who is not well informed will be able to recognise their dishonesty. There have been occasions when I have felt that Dave was simply providing a platform for people to espouse their opinions, rather than actually interviewing them.
