Jones is certainly hamming his performance up in what he believes to be a compelling manner, but the trouble is, like Heath Ledger method-acting the Joker, he finds it impossible to know where the character stops and the real person begins. Just as surely as this killed Ledger, it's turned Alex Jones' mind, and I'm sure that he has totally lost contact with all reality now.

  3. Alex Jones is world reknoowned (and sadly revered) amongst the young and disenfranchised, to say nothing of the young and priveleged with too much much time on their hands. However, they are DEFINITELY not the demographic that watches the politics show. It was a huge miscalculation to have him on.

  4. Agreed - the politics show is too well respected to legitimise a barking loon like Jones by giving him air time.
