@2010wilsoneya The cities are bur ning because Scump has showed such appalling leadership, pandering to white supremacicists, dividing the country and always taking the racist option. The protestors are opposing authoritarian policing. Do you really think authoritarian policing is the solution?

@2010wilsoneya "The narrative?" The narrative plays out on youtube and TV every day when innocent black people are murdered by the police every week. If groups have finally started to organise and direct taht anger - good. It's lonng overdue.

@2010wilsoneya And what does the number of officers killed have to do with anything? They signed up to do a mostly pretty safe job. Black people never agreed to the police breaking into their homes,backed by the full force of the government, and murdering them!

@2010wilsoneya It's only ridiculous because you're not thnking rationally. 1. Sleeping in your own bed was not a crime. Playing with a toy gun was not a crime. Owning a BB gun in a hotel room was not a crime. Looking at a gun in a walmart was not a crime. And EVEN IF THEY WERE, execution is not the penalty. 2. Do you SERIOUSLY not understand why this is moronic on multiple levels? i. Criminals do not have the force of the government behind them ii. Two wrongs do not make a right iii. The police are tasked with protecting the citizens, not murdering them iv. So what? If you report that a policeman tried to murder you in your bed when you are innocent of any crime, by your logic, the controller should just say "Well people in your neighbourhood kill more people and hang up."
