  1. Everyone IS innocent until proven guilty. Shooting unconnected unarmed civilians is a gross overreaction.

  2. Given the behaviour of the police in the USA, and especially in this case, I would not blame anybody encountering them to fear for his life. And like David said - is execution the only possible response to an attack? These guys are supposed to be trained in restraint. Against an unarmed attacker, you're gonna tell me execution was justified?

Given the volatility of this situation,and knowing they've already killed his friends, whether it was standard operating procedure or not, the FBI SHOULD have carried a taser, and there should have been more than one. This looks incredibly bad. Talk about pouring petrol on an already raging conspiracy fire. This is outrageous. Someone should have to answer for this.

  5. Sadly, the culture of protecting each other's backs, which is essential in the police, also has the negative effect of encouraging police to be indiscriminate in doing so. It's like catholics whose membership and donation ends up enabling the evils by a small percentage of their leadership.

  6. What benefits do you see from such a system, and do you not see the fact that this has been rejected by EVERY civilised country in the world to be a problem? After all - we could ALL be accused of crimes, unsubstantiated, that we might find impossible to disprove. I could accuse you of murdering someone on a random day ten years ago, and you might find it impossible to remember that date, far less prove that you didn't commit the crime.
