  1. Excuse me then, but his only "crime" is not keeping up with the fact that the word "coloured" is no longer in favour? The fact that studies into hand washing and hygiene by race AND gender exist shows that his questions were ENTIRELY reasonable. Let's not start flapping our hankies and taking offence where it's not needed eh David?

  3.  @some-one-else  He's trying to get to the bottom of why these statistics are so. He asked a question that other professionals in his field have asked and examined. I tell you what would be monumentally stupid: NOT asking for fear of being accused of racism.

  4. Perhaps he DOES have that access, but it depends upon the context this arose. Perhaps he had not needed to consider this question before this meeting. I'm sure NO doctor has time to stay up to date on ALL the current research.
