Oh very good! You're so right.

But there is evidence that a crime occurred. An unarmed boy is dead. Zimmerman, a man trained in martial arts was unequivocally the killer. You can quibble about whether the lack of evidence to show INTENT makes him innocent, but there is no doubt that he shot Trayvon. Zimmerman admits to this. The only evidence in this case pertains to his intent, not whether he did it. The jury found insufficient evidence for intent. That makes him innocent legally, but truth doesn't care about legality.

Nonsense. There was INSUFFICIENT evidence, not NO evidence. The burden of proof is justifianbly high in a murder case , and the prosecution were unable to convince the jury. That doesn't mean that a single one of them tthought that he was innocent, but according to the legal brief they were given, they may have HAD to acquit him. Zimmerman is a murderer, regardless of the verdict.

No, I'm not ignoring it at all. It never happened. The medic never found any wounds consistent with such an assault. Zimmerman's wounds were descriibed as "extremely insignificant" by the medic. Nor am I ignoring the gross provocation and threat posed by an adult male stalking a teenaged boy at night. Anyone, of any age or capability, who claims they would not be disturbed by such stalking is a liar or an idiot.

You seem incapable of distinguishing between judicial innocence and actual innocence. Trials are not for finding the truth. Trials are a performance. Trials are for rendering judgements. Truth does not occur because a verdict has been reached. In this case more than ever, the "truth" was primarily in the control of the murderer because there were no witnesses. If you had been raped and a trial found your attacker not guilty, do you really think that their verdict is the only one that matters.

Only by law, not in the eyes of the population and not in reality. Ask the average person if OJ Simpson or Michael Jackson were innocent.

So you don't think that shooting unarmed civilians is criminal?
1
No, he is not innocent. He just got away with it. He may be judicially innocent, but that's a technicality, and bears no relationship to what he actually did or did not do.
