  1. Surely it's possible that the theory of relativity could explain all observations and still be completely wrong?

  2. The fact that a wrong thing has predictive power means little. Correlation doesn't imply causation. And I'm not for one second suggesting that this theory IS wrong, it's just that man has a habit of declaring things with absolute certainty, only to be found wrong time and time again.
