If they think he's not going to cause a national outbreak, why would he think his child ws at risk?

Presumably he simply has a cough then. Millions of people had them safely before corvid-19.

@Ariels888 Agreed. I'm fortunate, the kids I work with mostly come from lower middle class backgrounds, but many of the others in the school do not. The internet and working with kids has been a revelation to me - teaching just how damned ignorant huge swathes of the population are.

@Ariels888 Education is a beaurocratic hierarchy and will ALWAYS be full of politics, both internal and external. I live in the UK, and work with a pretty good primary school, but external government targets and inspections, parental interactions, dubious internal leadership, and administrators who never teach and are more concerned with finances and other matters all make the place less than it could be. I don't think that will ever be fully resolved because those factors will always be at play. Great leadership can minimise it though. Too much to do with too little money.

@Ariels888 Actually I'm a martial arts instructor at a school (4-11 year olds) but I'm close communication with the school and many teachers. The BS I see just from my perspectiee, let alone what the teachers and parents tell me is dismaying.
