Yes, he is a sell out because ultimately he has demonstrated that for the expediency of beating Donald Trump, he is prepared to sign up to a woman who has a track record as a corporatist, going against his principles. But worse than that, he's a fool because he showed that he was unable to play the game how it needs to be played to win. High minded principles are fine, but if you never get to a position of power where you can enact them, then you are just a bag of worthless hot air wasting people's money and belief. In some ways, he has done more harm than good by showing people that you can't beat the system. This was a unique opportunity to harness a massive frustration with modern politics following Republican response to the Obama administration, and enact real change. Instead he has squandered that and maybe set America's revolution back decades.
