I'm sorry but I disagree with David and the people below. In the first question, it was either a subject that she had heard or it wasn't. It clearly wasn't, and not knowing that it was specific term, she attempted to draw a distinction between the two wordds, and I didn't think her answer was dreadful. As for the accountability issue, one could envision government funded schools that for whatever reason, are less accountable because they are run with different goals in mind. Far from being ignorant in her comprehension, she refused to give a glib soundbite answer that could subsequently be used against her without knowing the entirety of school situations out there. When she WAS eventually forced to give an answer, she rightly took a position that did not match Kaine's - the only answer ANY truthful person could reasonably have given.

It must be great for you to simply put everybody into neat little boxes so you can make easy judgements huh? And for the record, I'm a well educated Brit. This is a horrible candidate, just as Trump himself is, but I was simply pointing out that the basis for David's contempt in this case may not be justified. It's called nuance, you should look it up some time.

Yes, that's a reasonable point Kraken. I have no doubt that like Trump himself, she was woefully underprepared for the interview. But look how far that's taken Trump!
