  2.  @DraggonCanoe  But it's not a "fact" is it? It's a hypothesis at best, and such thing are impossible to calculate, especially without the benefit of prescience. And that's the moral argument isn't it? It's basically the trolley problem, but absent the clarity of actually seeing the people tied to the tracks. Imagine realising that you didn't have to kill ANYONE and Japan was in the midst of surrendering...

  3. America should NEVER be forgiven for Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The irony is, you created a world where all of your enemies were forced to develop the capacity to wipe out millions of innocent civilians too.
