@20greeneyes20 In America, I'm sad to say that's true. Corporations thrive on citizen poverty. People on the verge of starvation don't tend to protest.

@ExConcernSh012 If you could find enough to eat, and that's to ignore the huge lack of variety, especially over winter. Foods in the medieval era were not all locally sourced. There was an international spice and salt trade, and grains brought in from all over.
