  1. Incidentally: Pansy was the name briefly consider for a Flower class Corvette, but never actually used. (the RN quite rightly concluding that the men would not respond well to being on a ship who's cap badge stated "Pansy")

  6. It's somewhat ironic that the RN has had many ships called Indefatigable , Indomitable , Invincible & so on, but not one HMS Inevitable 🤔 Doesn't matter how fast the enemy tries to run away or what futility of resistance they offer; their defeat, is Inevitable 😁
