I would also put forward that scrapping is never a "happy" ending, as there's nothing happy about a detailed work of human endeavour being crudely broken and cut up for the bottom line of "howh much iz this woorth 'en?" . Ships that have defied the scrappers as their final battle though, such as Warspite, Oklahoma and São Paulo; that's the stuff of legends 😁👌 .

^ Nah. Having one ship from each class isn't a big ask, and is far more informative re' teaching subsequent generations general history, engineering practices and how to / not to design and build a ship. Tis the main reason we should have kept a T-42 class Destroyer, to practically illustrate why Sheffield was lost to a faulty missile built by the french, and how it could have been avoided. And seriously; the Minotaur class bristled with guns; tis no better place to take schoolboys 😉😆 .

@kemarisite Fair. Same juxtaposition with the Invincible class Battlecruisers; the ships that surrvived the war - and were offered as compensation for the Battleship Admiral Cochrane - before being broken up are seldom mentioned, rather their unfortunate class namesake is.
