@jt1559 Thanks

A statue who's only justifiable reason for being, is to warn those approaching the building what lurks within. Perhaps that should be a new tradition for Prison Cell Block's exterior features. (a man slitting another's throat for the block for murderers, a pick pocket for the block of theves, and so on)

@ivorbiggun710 Yup. We haven't needed 'em either XD. Now the F-14, F/A-18 & Tiger II... those we had points in time where they'd have been ideal.
1
The SHAR was good though; the flying pig that the FAA are lumped with now though... not so much.
1
Not noticed thst myself. Any examples?
1
This is just like the "Liberal Democrats" (or Fascist Autocrats to give them their proper name)... only the Lib' Dem's don't have a world class electoral fraud operation XD.
1
Suddenly the "Police" are looking a lot less relevant. If they don't follow - or even seem to know - the law... why should they even exist?.
1
Nah; they point out objectively that it looks bad, and doesn't have any real meaning behind it. (unlike say, the Don't Tread on Me flag, the Stars & Bars or the US Flag itself)
1
^ Notice you side-stepped the actual point, rather than counterpointing; telling 😏🥱
1
^ I dinnae what a "Pount" is 🤨🧐😏, but they're actually pointing out specific issues with the flag, such as it having a lousy colour choice (like that of a toothpaste company), looking too much like the somalian flag, and just being bland and without anything that unequivocally says "Minnesota", be it in colours nor symbology. In other words; it's a lazy design by-committee embarrassment, that remains unverified by public vote, but ridiculed by them in plentiful apportion 😆

One detail those shilling for vegetablist diets... is going without meat makes you fart more . Hitler in particular had severe flatulance, among other medical issues brought on by his mental disorder re' diet. (yup: we can literally say that Adolf was full of hot air) Good for the enemies of Germany at that time, bad for anyone else misled into such a diet.

obliterated* would be a better discription :D

The actor/actress in question will now forever be known as Idiot Page XD.

@randomusername5242 ...while ironically, the only worthless trash, is them.

Immigrants to the USA [regardless of legality] can never run for the Presidency, so it's not a massive leap to block Immigrants from voting until [for instance] 10 years after entering the country. Illegal Immigrants should be barred from voting for life, as they've broken the law by entering the country illegally. #Simples

Good grief that Canned Applause was cringeworthily superficial o_O . The Yank's have their issues, but I refuse to believe anyone [that's sane] would clap to that lunatic without being paid.

As a Mechanical Engineer... I have to agree with KT & the others. The end customer may at times be the problem (especially politicians), but not always. After all: If a trained Architect can send out building foundation drawings to the building firm that're inverted without noticing, then he can't exactly claim the builders were wrong to follow instructions which he signed off on as being correct. (true story BTW: the building work had to be restarted from scratch & at vast cost, because of a schoolboy error by the architect with his CAD software)
1
@mytruthslays1303 I fail to see your point, as you're all over the place re' consistency of point. I wouldn't rule out the in-house politics and wastage as factors, but the one whom pays for it is ultimately the end customer; which is technically the [seldom consulted] Taxpayer, via the [questionably accountable and seldom well-informed] politicians whom ordered the thing. Robert Macnamara is a classic case in point. He brought about the farcical TFX Program because he thought the USN had too many 'planes, and industry produced an appropriately muddled and useless lemon to match the absurd requirements. The result was the F111B... an aircraft so unfit for purpose the USN went out of their way to kill it. They were right too, as they got to keep most of what they already had, and eventually got the much more rationally thought out F-14.

Yes. The government are infantile, and rubbish 😂
1
This XD
1
@ALeaud Well put.
1
^ An oddly worded reply, but I for one am all for the delicious irony of traitors in government trying to rejoin the failed project that is the EU, only for the latter to reject them 😆 . As for everyday Brit's; we'd rather have not been lied to and mislead by Heath & Co into joining that sordid mess, back in the '70's.
1
^ #BraindeadTake 😂

^ Non-reply is non. Ding

@killpidone Not to be confused with the urinating stone infant (part of a water font of some sort) that a city in belgium has.
1
@jonson856 Aye. Glorious Font MasterRace
1
@killpidone Usually aye. Would make for a funny #KnowTheDifference meme though.
1
@AkuTenshiiZero We're allowed to shoot those though 😂

This explains why post-2005 Dr Who always had a whiff of wokeness about it (before Moffat made it blatant) and shilling for leftwing talking points, that Classic DW didn't. Davis was also always the type of show runner to resort to deconstructing existing lore, instead of constructing. (case in point; killing off the Time Lords because he couldn't think of anything to do with them)
1
Ah yes; that nobody I always got confused with the newsreader John Snow (BBC, also retired).
1
@Marinealver Precisely. Plenty of conflicts post-Vietnam would've seen western pilots utterly screwed otherwise. (as instances from the Falklands, Gulf Wars & more prove)
1
^ Complete rubbish. You also conveniantly omit the fact that all the AAM's in that war had a horrific failure rate. The fact that the Phantom II could fire all four AAM's at a single target and still miss, had cannon pods added faster than you can say 20mm. Look at the F102 Delta Dagger and its dreadful service record in Vietnam for why missiles only was an idiotic idea. (more of the aircraft lost in theater than it shot down; it never saw active deployment ever again) Good luck also in getting any serving pilot to willingly give up the insurance of having cannons, as real air combat rarely if ever plays out how theorists - that seldom have any actual hands on experiance of the topic - project it as being. (bit like the BS claim made by various quacks in the 1950's that missiles made aircraft at all entirely redundant)
1
^ A cliched andvacuous whatabout'est gibberish-fest- that whiffs of remoaner'itus - in-leau of an actual counter-point or question; how disappointing. Read up on UK agriculture and how our farmland has been used / not used; it's quite interesting and you might even learn something.
1
Based Nelson; a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one :D .

Certainly the worst I've had the displeasure of living through. Most would call him the worst PM in living memory.
1
@alexandru5369 Yeah. Some live past "the ton", but living memory is a more useful phrase. We've had some right stinkers as PM; such as the hapless Macmillan, the irksome Harold Wilson and his former chancellor Callaghan, the utterly useless Theresa May... and others. For me Bliar is the worst I've lived through, with Thatcher being the only one I'd consider as any good. (and even she had her low points; such as selling off our ordinance factories, passing a certain communications act in 1988, and being mislead into joining the EERM)
1
Aye; though that has artistic value XD.
1
@jackhazardous4008 ...or even a pile driver XD.
1
08:15 Ah yes~ the Wool Witch ; a legendary magical woman who's the arch enemy of the Ninja 🤔
1
Nah. That joke is so old & out of date even boomers cringe when it's uttered.
1
^ Not really. The US has a worse obesity issue than most, so it's a trope well grounded in ongoing fact... and fat. It's also the appropriate thing to point it out, as it wasn't always that way. (obesity in the US back in the '50's was the exception, by a comfortable margin; they were better known here in the UK at the time for being tall, hambone'ish & oversexed 😆)
1
^ Projection 100 😆🤣

Except: None of them - including F-35 - can do both roles as well as two dedicated aircraft could do said job... and they never will. One can have an air superiority fighter that can drop bombs, but it will never do the latter role as well than an aircraft designed specifically to drop bombs... and visa versa.
1
@GeoRyukaiser Bit of a massive generalization there. Few would call notable GR aircraft like Buccaneer, Tornado, Harrier or Warthog lacking in mobility. And as mentioned: You can have a fighter that can do a secondary mission to some ability, but never as well as its primary mission. Should one try to, you get an aircraft that's still better at one role than another, but less capable at both roles than seperate dedicated 'planes. Case in point: Tornado was first and foremost a GR aircraft: she could do air superiority, but only do it well as a dedicated variant with an air search radar & weapons. (this wasn't deemed enough by the RAF though; whom eventually got Typhoon as a result, and aircraft which was air superiority first, GR as a secondary but lesser capability)

Maxine Waters & Nancy Skeletor Polozi are the personification for why elections to public office should require at least 75% voter turnout*; if not higher. (and no postal or electronic voting) Minority voter turnouts always = extremists getting power no sane person would otherwise bestow. *If a result of less than the required happens; nobody is elected, and the constituency has to vote again, until the turnout needed is reached.
1
22:16 Not with this Gen' Y'er. I loathed the plastic faced gremlin even back in the 00's.
1
@brentoncavallaro2040 True. It's the fact that Chamberlain's lack of decisiveness led to a far longer and worse war than could have been; which is the reason he is so damned today, and indeed was hounded out of the house of commons in 1940 to the words of "You have remained too long for any good you were doing; In the name of god, Go!". After all: He refused to bomb Germany in 1939 (whilst the Luftwaffe was pounding Poland), just because German factories were private property. (they weren't in practice; as the NSDAP controlled them all; showing how little Chamberlain knew his foe) One can only guess how much the war could've been shortened; had the British & French struck Germany hard from the east (by land & air) & north (by air), which their alliance with Poland gave them every right to.
1
@Kieselmeister Pretty much. He quite rightly placed Hitler & the NSDAP as being beyond the devil, whilst showing he still deemed communism as the next worst thing out there.
