@Gentleman Murk Not really no. The M/C of BB got his arse handed to him, a lot. It took time & the tutilage of Bruce himself to become Batman.

007 is dead: Long Live Sir Johnny English! Seriously though: ever since Brosnan left the 007 role; Rowan Atkinson's been playing the closest thing to Bond (as far as actually being fun to watch is concerned).

Alita: Battle Angel : exists Hollywood's P/R machine : "hurr durr captain misandry is better!"

Moral of the Story: adopt better kids (those kids only make any sense as adoptions)
26
Not to be confused with M Bison's "Of Course!"
23
...or Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster..

The two racial-socialists behind this trashfire woukd have to be braindead not to have done it intentionally.

^ Only a straight up Drekkie could actually believe that "let it all die; kill it if you have to" sophistry, nor seriously state that the only way forward story wise is to destroy - or to be more precise crap upon - what came before. (hacks like Abrams are hated after all; because they don't know how to add to an extant IP; only how to subtract therefrom) Take Gundam for instance. Their UC timeline is Still going, all these years later. (alongwith material set in other condinuities, popular in their own right) With good writers and a studio that actually gives a crap; anything is possible. @Starfox371 Aye. That; or at least being forced to listen to Vogon Poetry. Come to think about it: CBS's finances are probably as... differently interesting... as Disaster Area's.

Imagine an R Rated Star Wars film... that'd be some fascinatingly dark viewing... while also being beyond white hot 😂

^ #Projection10000 😂

@MechaJutaro I overall agree. Dalton is one of the most underrated Bond's, though I think Brosnan's strong start with GoldenEye and A View to a Kill getting a retrospective cult status is why what came inbetween is often overlooked. For me Craig would've made a great Bond Villain (he has that kind of slavic'ness to him that'd make a convincing Russian character), but was always miscast as Bond. The decision to nuke Q and all the fun from the films though; did the most to kill it for me.

The number of the beast is 616, not 666 as is often claimed.

@vonfaustien3957 True. I had to mention the legendary mind pummeling drink though :D .
7
I recall no end of crappy Channel 4 documentaries / top 100 programs that pushed the "hurr durr He-Man is Gay!!" fallacy back in the '90's & 00's. Wikipedia isn't the first to spread said pish; it's just got a bigger audiance.
6
@EvenTheDogAgrees Nah. StarGate still had a lot of life left in it; the Credit Crunch torpedoing MGM's finances - plus a hike in filming costs - was what put paid to SG1's & SGA's planned further seasons. It took a god awful spinoff - in the shakey-cam' mess that was SGU - that was largely panned by Gaters though, to kill any interest in bringing StarGate back.

It's also often Projection , with most reee'ing the R Word being the most racist people we could ever meet.

Any question raised by the film: Dohn't Knoooh

@MechaJutaro Eeh, I don't quite agree. Brosnan for me was rather good at portraying both sides of Bond; his womanizing & humorous side, and that of a cold and methodically precise MI6 agent. Makes sense in real world logic too, as in the Army the stated goal of training is for the resulting Soldier to be able to turn their [for lack of a better word] aggression on and [just as importantly] off. The World is Not Enough is one example, where he shoots an unarmed woman, because the mission and her part in a terrorist plot requires it. He's visibly mornful straight afterwards, yet pulls it together for the sake of the ongoing mission.

Define "success". It's hard to overstate how badly wrong live action adaptations can go; and as A:BA is basically the only one to pull it off so far, that makes it a high risk venture. If Japan went it alone with making such a thing though; that could work. (a bit like how Sony alone in the '90's produced a better and more successful games console, than gaming industry incumbent Nintendo working with a third party could, whilst also putting the ailing SEGA & Atari out of their misery in the process)

@justmonika2345 Amen. History's view [in decades hence] upon the cretins behind this will I suspect be as or more negative, than as we see it today. Nonsense like this has after all happened before, with franchises like the original He-Man; which went from record setter to sales collapse within weeks, due to a few ideological dimwits in the board room. Same thing with Ghostbusters ('80's animated series); went from massive success, to Q4 induced mess, to inglorious spinoff & cancellation.

^ Look into it boyo; it is 616, not 666 🙄😮💨 .

"1 minute ago" An unexpected outcome to be sure, but a welcome one 😁
3
Dial out the fact that Rotten Tomatoes is US only, and has been proven to manipulate scores for money... and yeah; a more accurate viewer figure would be far lower... right through deck 29 and out into the void XD.
3
Well; his concept was good; until he took his helmet off... and his role became obvious -_- . (as Fujoshi fodder)
3
@daxriley8195 I can see why; but they guy deserves better than to be likened to Russell Brand XD.
3
@Jin-ft2uy To be fair; the comics had played around with the idea of Maul surrviving before Filoni did it in ST:CW, and several notable Darksiders in lore have had similar or worse ordeals 🤔 . (plus of course General Grevious, whom was an even more extreme cyborg augmentation from a ruined humanoid than Darth Vader would be) Compared to the current stab surrviving nonsense from Gisnep, surrviving bifurcation ala Lightsaber was at least made a one-off special situation, with some tangible explanation.
3
Him as a co-protagonist would've worked I think. As the prequels's weakest moments of dialog vs the best proved: actors are heavily reliant on what they're given to work with.
2
I certainly won't bother watching Captain Cringia 😂 Marvel is dead, and Gisnep killed it.
2
True; though not for a Palpatine / Plutt ;-)
2
@Toliman. Yup. Like the dog in Duck Hunt; any sane person just wants the character to get shot.
2
@mikeycrackson ...and the shotput delivery XD
2
^ That doesn't even make Grammatical Sense
2
Basically what happened with Witchblade too.
2
One of Roland Emmerich's only two good films (this & StarGate)... the rest of his stuff is barely watchable schlock. (which as he's an insufferable leftie with no imagination is a given) The funny thing is that StarGate SG-1 made fun of the whole computer virus stuff in their S1 finale.
2
Never had any interest in "Teela" in the original series... but ruining EviLyn's character... that's just low. (though ironically the plot thread of her betraying / usurping Skeletor for power could have been awesome in competant hands) "Kevin Smith" will forever be a reason to avoid something from now on -_- . A pity that good animators had to waste their time on this, and that money was wasted on making it.
2
Femnazis hate them too, because robust writing is hard work.
2
Ironic
2
@nicoleackerman205 Well I'd say it'd be some dark spell of Raven's... or the more primal side of her. The result though wouldn't look like... the blob in the video.
2
I certainly miss the pre-Gisnep era. It was still a bit absurd that Lightsabers didn't set clothing on fire or more severely burn those sliced by them, but the threat factor of Lightsabers was never in doubt; at best the victim was going to end up horrifically debilitated, if not sliced and mildly fried chum 😅 . Like Robocop when not R Rated, Star Wars under the laughing rodent is going to age like rats milk.
2
Unlike Jesus though; I doubt Rey Plutt will ever be a theological idol that sparks dozens of crusades... so at least she doesn't get the indirect bodycount J. Christ has accrued over the centuries XD.
1
Good riddance Rey Plutt; we never wanted to know ya 😂

Definitely not paying to see Predator -1: Femnazi Boogaloo

At least this inane garbage makes the 1970's ToS Animated series look like Othello. It even makes the never-made animated series' concepts of the late Berman era look good.
1
^x8 Sorry; I don't speak incoherent nonsense XD. A:BA was awesome, and no amount of paid shillery by di$ney can change that.

Huh. So Jeremy Clarkson got laid off for punching a producer off-camera (due to the guy not doing his job), while Will Smith gets an award despite punching and autistically screeching at a guy on-camera (for making a joke) and faces no concequences... whatsoever. Then again if Will Smith was white and'd done this... he'd be booed to scorn by the Twit's, as if he were the antichrist.

0:38 reeks of Faked Hatemail. Likely they knew they had a stinker on their hands, and had the paid bots and photoshop on standby. As Actors are literally Liars for Hire (they espouse & act whatever they're paid to), this should be obvious to all.
