Ah yes Marge'. The french came up with that disgusting muck; which in some US states legally has to be other colours than yellow, such as red. (to make it clear that it isn't nor is pretending to be Butter)

Japan is a case in point of how nationalization (JNR) didn't work; but privatization (JR) did and does. Agree though on how well privatization is done being key.

@Predator20357 Nope; because all Butter and Marge is made from some form of animal / plant product. Milk is Animal Coal Tar is [prehistoric] Animal/Plant residue. Oil is is [prehistoric] Animal/Plant residue. All plants also grow in conditions where decomposed animal matter is present in some form, making all plants Animal derived. Vegans: "Oh... shit!!" XD

A bit like how some of the best (for the money) and very worst (period) scale model kits on the market are sold by polish company Mistercraft.

@Predator20357 I'm sure that's your opinion; but Coal Tar & Oil is still directly and indirectly animal derived, making it literally impossible to claim an animal-free diet :D . Similar thing with hippies claiming to be "getting back to nature", whilst forgetting that us Terrans have been domesticating Plants for thousands of years.

They also gave up their domestic Nuclear Power (despite having no accidents) for said imported coal energy... politicians in a nutshell -_- .
7
@davidhimmelsbach557 That was long before Germany actually abandoned Nuclear Power; their political reason lay over in Japan... which was an even more stupid reason than the DDR's duffer history with the tech', as Germany doesn't get high yield Earthquakes, nor Tsunami.

@Knoloaify Aye. It was the seemingly promising early days of said efforts in Sweden which got the EEC/EU "encouraging" everyone else in the bloc to do the same; John Major's government in the UK at the time was the first to respond (by psuedo-privatizing BR in the early '90's), which has had basically the same Worst of Both result. And to think he's mostly only remembered here for calling his own MP's "bastards" for objecting to the Maastrict treaty XD.

National-Socialism = Socialism without the internationalism bit (just like Stalin's "communism in one nation"), with added racialism. The latter; is why the NSDAP's ideology is also called "Racial Socialism", as to the Nazi's, the key thing to "socialize" wasn't banks or factories... it was the german "folk" themselves. To know that; is to know the monster that's National-Socialism. Nazism also had the Military-First State aspect of "War Communism". Citizenship guarranteed Service.

@marvalice3455 Wrong. Coal is [in laymen terms] prehistoric compacted plant and animal matter... ergo partially animal derived. This is also true of various rocks though, as well as Crude Oil and various other materials. The point being: it's impossible to exist without using something or consuming something animal derived 😁 .

@Raskolnikov70 This XD

The "but but Hitler imprisoned the socialists!" fallacy is a tired one, and easily dismissed with a little reality: • The notion that socialists are all one grouping that'd never infight is blatantly untrue, with the Russian Civil War (chiefly between the Bolsheviks & Mensheviks; both different interpretations of socialist dogma) being the most famous example, one among thousands of the ever psuedo-religious socialist ideology having a winner take all ideological purity contest between factions. • The NSDAP banned all opposition parties after securing power, be they other socialists, liberals, conservatives, monarchists, et al. (the Communists in Russia did the same over a decade beforehand; as would their spinoffs)

@justuseodysee7348 Yes we know that. It has been made from worse stuff than coal in the past though, and hydrogination... well that has an infamy all its own.
