Comments by "Jim Taylor" (@jimtaylor294) on "Nationalism DOESN’T explain WHY Austria-Hungary collapsed" video.
The fact that the Hapsburgs needed a foriegn power to march troops onto their soil to sort out domestic unrest was a national embarrasment though, thus TIK was right to frame it in the negative, due to it being a negative blow to the country's international integrity, by making it look weak.

@steamstrategy7670 The UK had - prior to WWII - imported much of their food; whilst WWII gave the incentive to heavily invest in building up domestic farming. The atlantic convoys from Canada & the US were chiefly of warmaking material.

Those whom resort to petty name calling; never had anything worth stating in the first place XD.

^ Ironic use of the word "nonsense", because: • The only convention in Debate (which is well documented & demonstrable) where namecalling is justifiable; is when the other side has already used it. As TIK hasn't initiated such an action - which you would have cited had he done so & you actually were interested in reasoned debate - the fault is demonstrably yours. • If you had disproved him with reasoned argument and empericism; you'd be able to point to it; via a counter-video or blog post. (which of course you are still at liberty to attempt) • He (TIK) - and indeed any video author - is under no obligation to answer commentators ad-infinitum; nor engage with them at all really, should he choose not to. Video Authors whom engage with their audiance do so as a courtesy to the latter; not because they have to. In TIK's case, he has stated more than once that he considers open debate to be important, and indeed healthy; a position not shared by any of the leftwing regimes his channel discusses. And as an aside: Disagreement - and the ability to agree to differ with magnanimousness - is demonstrably key to any healthy debate. Something I'd say you've either forgotten, or - as with many on the left - ideologically don't believe in.

@ilyesistvan8331 That's notable aye, though the reason behind their need for outside help is an aside to their having been seen by all as having to do so, and that it was overall a low point for the empire.
