@yoshuadhebrew135 You make it sound like there are only 2 types of men and women made bad choices... It's almost like your brain doesnt have the ability to think outside of 2 choices. You can be with a man who is a great partner then walks out and leaves one day. Breaking up a union can literally cause poverty. Grow up. Open your mind. Educate yourself. Experience situations other than your own so you dont assume a mom chose the "bad guy" over "the nerd." 🙄

@nuttybar9 ...because she's a kid...

I LOVE how articulate, intelligent, and empathetic these children are. 💕 That younger White girl should start a Tik too or YT channel. She has the personality for it and it could possibly help with the income problem in her house.

I wonder how many of these children came from situations that weren't designed to be long term in the first place.

@daniellehoreau7721 It could've been either or both. Depression and stress does manifest itself physically and she could've also been trying to protect her mom. (Rihanna used to get really bad headaches when she lived with her abusive father. They didn't stop until her mom left her dad.)

It takes 2 to make an embryo but only 1 can decide if that embryo becomes a baby and if that baby makes it into the world and if that baby gets adopted or not. We don't know if these fathers actually wanted to be fathers tho. Something tells me that these children didn't come from invested relationships where the parents discussed having a child prior to conception and the dads actually wanted to be dads.

@FourSeasons04 By your logic, when a woman chooses to engage in unprotected sex she's taking a risk that the father may or may not want to support the child that she makes the decision to have...

@TheCc064 You're being intentionally obtuse and Ion like dat. 🙄 There is a HUGE middle ground between where these folks are, financially, and being wealthy. All the person is saying is put YOUR mask on first before you try to put anyone else's on. Make sure you've pulled YOURSELF out of poverty with enough cushioning and buffer room before introducing a child into the equation. Part of being a good parent is setting your child up to have the best life possible. More importantly, ONLY have the number of children you can afford. Personal accountability and moral responsibility.

I agree. Poor people get used to scratching and surviving whereas middle class people have the option to thrive. Poor people put their children in activities to keep them out of trouble whereas more financially stable people put their children in activities that play to their strengths and will help them flourish. (There are more successful Acccountants and Finance managers in this world than ball players, yet poorer people will put their child in football or basketball before/instead of a business or math club.)

@de3182 The point. You missed it. 🙄 There's a difference between being a helpful child and a child taking on adult responsibilities because you failed as a parent. When she referred to her 13 year old son as her THIRD child's brother/father she proved that her situation was the latter nor the former.

1. The mom had a job before COVID. 2. They wouldve STILL been living in poverty whether they had those phones or not because the price of 3 iPhones WON'T take you out of poverty. Job security, educationx and livable wages will. 3. You can go thrifting and find a Steve Madden bag. Cut it out. 🙄 4. Do twice the listening and half the talking next time.

There are programs that will subsidize phones and tablets for your family if you're in poverty. I know this for a fact because I've seen people receive this benefit. If you have a skill, which the mom does, you can barter services for smaller goods (a phone or tablet, but not a house or car). Something tells me you dont fire on all cylinders.

@Vale-dh1tn I wish I could like this a million times.

The little White girl has an amazing personality and that's gonna be what carries her in life. I do think she needs therapy for thinking she is stupid. It seems like she has low self esteem, but that personality is definitely a winner.

@karenacuffhendricks1 It's weird bc their mom's situation is the best out of everyone's and they seem to have the most access to resources. The children probably need more guidance, regulations, and structure but it seems like their mom is doing the best.

@shinoda9224 Comprehension is crucial. 1. The mother is a nail tech. This is a service that they can receive for free. If your dad was a barber would you walk around without a haircut? 2. Those clothes are cheap and can be found at Goodwill and thrift stores if you know how to look. I know because my friends and I use to go thrifting, not because we had to but because it was considered cool at that time. 3. You can get your hair done for free. I've done so plenty of times and I bartered services for services. 4. The car belongs to a friend. I've loaned out my car to friends in similar situations plenty of times. The house is clearly not theirs. I've let friends and family stay with me plenty of times. 5. What does anything you mentioned have to do with the grandma which was the original question? 6. You need to check your ignorance. 🙄

She said he walked out.

Serena Chairs The mom is a nail tech so their mom probably does their nails for free. Their clothes arent nice. You can find that cheap shit for damn near free at Goodwill.

@3_hustles14 Pipe down Karen. Her situation isnt indicative of an entire segment of the population. You're taking ONE example and and trying to spread it across the board. The Black mom, in spite of institutional racism, CHOSE to do better for her children but then the pandemic happened. The White moms, in spite of being White in a predominantly White country, CHOSE not to do better hence their long suffering situations. Everyone tells Blacks to do better but when they did we have to deal with Karens like you on YT? 🧐 Perhaps White women should make better choices...IJS

@paisleyprincess7996 TRUST ME, it's a winner personality. That's a personality for TV, social media, ect. She's interesting which is why we're both still talking about her. Let her start a Tik Tok or YT channel and have a good marketing strategy and it will surely help to take her out of poverty. Her personality marketable, and part if our jobs in life is to use what we have, good or bad, for our betterment.
