Interesting how you didn't refer to the boy as being "fast" for being 13 with a girlfriend nor did you ask where his father was for allowing him to handle a loaded gun in an unsupervised apartment...🤔 Had she not been there he would've just ended up shooting one of his homeboys, then what would your issue have been? 👀🙃

To be fair, this happens with White children too. It sounds like a bunch of unsupervised kids got ahold of a gun and were messing around with it and it ended in an unfortunate accident. The real issue here is how were they able to get ahold of a gun, why was the gun left loaded, and why were they in an apartment unsupervised?

I definitely think he was just messing around and accidentally ended up killing her and that the real issue here is that an irresponsible adult left a loaded gun around for kids to find and that the kids were sitting in an apartment unsupervised. 13/14 is way too young to date. So is high school. Many adults cannot handle their emotions of the circumstances surrounding dating let alone children. Dating is for adults.

How do you prove that he knew the gun was loaded?
2
The death was an accident if he didn't know the gun was loaded and doesn't know how to properly use it. The issue is that children were able to gain access to a loaded weapon. They're not going to charge him as an adult and rightfully so.b

Pulling a trigger is basic common sense. Anyone who has watched any action movie or played any video game knows how to pull a trigger.

He should be released in a couple of months. He isn't responsible for his actions at the age of 13. The adult who left a loaded gun around and the parents who allowed him to be with other children I an apartment unsupervised are.
1
Because he didn't realize the safety was off and that the gun was loaded. Because gun safety isn't something that the aver 13 year old knows about. Which is why adult gun owners should be responsible about where they leave their guns and ensuring that they aren't loaded.

Usually due to some type of domestic dispute, and that needs to be addressed. This situation however; sounds more like young teens showing off and horsing around and it ended tragically unfortunately. This is more about firearm safety than it is about domestic disputes.

Then he would've just shot one of his homeboys instead of the girl. This didn't happen because the daughter had a boyfriend, this happend because an irresponsible adult left a loaded gun around for intrigued kids to find it. This is about firearm safety not the appropriate dating age. That said, interesting how you didn't mention that one shouldn't let their son have a girlfriend until college...🤔

Because they're 13 and not adults... Most 13 year old children don't know to check if a gun is loaded, don't know to check if the safety is off, or know about ammo. They only know to emulate what they see on TV. 🤡

10 years isn't that long. The average man lives into his 80s. He'll have a lot of time to plan his future, get a degree, seek the services he needs, and create a business plan to generate income when he gets out. I wish him the best and prays he makes the best possible use of his time there.

Would you be less offended if it were 10 million? Like, would you feel better if the city put the price on your daughter's life of 10 mill?

💔 This is sad, but his life shouldn't be ruined over this. Part of gun safety is not leaving a loaded gun around for children to find it and part of parenting is not allowing your 13 and 14 year old children to date and sit in an apartment unsupervised. The adults failed both the boy and the girl.
1
Yes. He's a child and the killing was an accident.
1
OR they should give him some time at a correctional camp with the services and resources he needs so he can live the rest of his life productively, which will more than likely be the case.

They didn't steal it, they found out. Your racism is showing. 🙃

Part of provingalice is proving ill intent... Why did he want to kill his girlfriend?
1
Pause: 1. What are a group of teenagers doing in an apartment unsupervised? 2. Why are 13 and 14 year Olds in relationships? 3. Where did the gun come from and why did the children have it?
1
Why would your daughter be sitting in an apartment with a bunch of other teenagers unsupervised? 🙃🤔

Good thing we have lawyers on YouTube to correct the justice system...🙃
