Your son shouldn't have put hands on you, but did you consider how that sudden move would upend his life and impact him mentally and emotionally BEFORE you decided to move? 🤔 Did you DISCUSS the move with him and give him options, or did you just TELL HIM that he was moving? 🧐 It sounds like you put him in a situation where he was rendered powerless, and he acted out in anger and expressed his control and power (destructively) in the only (immature) way he knew how. Unfortunately, when we have children, THEIR well-being comes first, and mental health is part of that wellbeing. This isn't all on your son. It CAN'T be. As his mother, YOU raised him, and he's a product of his environment, so YOU MUST take some accountability. It sounds like the new job should've waited until he was finished with school. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Every parent had the choice to remain child-free. No child had the choice to remain parent-free . This is smooth-brained behavior at its finest. 😂🤡

This is about not taking his feelings, thoughts, opinions, stability, and mental health into consideration when you make a life altering decision that also affects him. She tried to render him powerless, so he took back his power in another, more destructive way. The fact that she engaged in the conflict with the boy, who is half her age, to the point where police need to be called and she needed to be held, she blames the child completely and takes NO accountability, and has yet to get her child back let's us know ALL that we need to know about her as a mother. 😒
