  44.  @octurner3358  If the staff is undertrained then there is a problem with the state, NOT with the patient as this original comment suggests. Regardless of whether the staff is obese themselves, there is a dietary regimen and excercise regimen that they are instructed to follow with their patients. Whether the owner transported the patients elsewhere or not, there still should've been a contingency plan in place. They are going to lose even more money with these negligent deaths than they would have had the done the right thing. We dont know the involvement of the families, but what we do know is that the nursing homes are paid to ensure the quality care of their residents. Dying from cancer is one thing, but dying due to medical negligence is another. Not only that but as an NP I am telling you that many nursing homes put on a show for families, especially when the patient is somewhat lucid. The ball here was dropped by the nursing home, NOT by the overweight resident who suffered and died and was mocked in the original comment.

The nursing home KNEW they were in the wrong because they turned away health inspectors; no need to hide if everything is legal. By your logic, if you die in a hospital due to medical negligence then no one should be held accountable because there was a chance that you were going to die at some point in life anyway...right ?🙃

Rather than helping her the rich woman recorded her...then she fell. She survived wirh life altering injuries. That video lives in my mind rent free to this day.

  92. I'm vaccinated, but yes you are missing something. What you're missing is that the existing vaccine mandates are for vaccines that are already tested, tried, and true. They've existed for decades. This vaccine is very new and many people still have concerns and reluctance about it. The issue isnt unemployment, the issue is how the city will function if those refusing to take the vaccine go on strike. The hospitals, nursing homes, schools, emergency response, and police force are already heavily understaffed as it is. If this occurs throughout the country the national guard wont be able to help everyone.
