A Black tenant and her daughter and niece begged the police to check the boy's ID because the boy had blood dripping from his anus and the daughter saw the 14 year old boy catching earthworms in the street, a very juvenile activity, in the days prior. The police declined. Thirty minutes later Dahmer killed the boy.
