@garyyatleung yea and also you don’t have to deal with these stock option *bs you straight up get cash some 401k and benefits for you to invest in whatever. And i’d say both tech and medicine are intellectually stimulating and most people would be fit for both unless you are extreme outlier in personality.

Just go to med school… problem solved. Code on your free time as a hobby. Especially when cash is king, screw those tech stock options…

@jonasbaine3538 depends on the specialty and location. If you got to caribbean or osteopathic school and/or subpar residency/specialty, you may get stuck with a bad job. But otherwise, most are happy with compensation and work-life balance, since you can choose to work less hours and still get compensated reasonably well.
