Proton and privacy? Why did I have to redirect my gmail emails, as one of the 4 steps, to get access to the full 1GB of data? Without that, in about 2 weeks deadline, I was having just 500MB. And I still have. Another step was to have an app, which I also refused. Why was it conditioned this way?

Only used VPN that Norton came with, for a moment. It wasn't a good experience. Not having Norton anymore. Not pirating, not watching stuff unavailable here, not under an oppressive regime, and when out and about I use my mobile data. If not available, I just look around. There is life out there, away from the screen.

I am critical of youtubers promoting these scams when youtybers should know better, like computer guys or gals, cybersecurity 'experts' etc. I am neither but I figured out that if nothing else they knew from what you included in the video, there is a dark web with all our data, too, and it is obvious it is out of the reach of these companies. If they promise us to remove our data for a regular fee, they are lying to us. I am a normie and I figured this out by myself. Why not them? Sharlatans they are.

It feels very suspicious to advertise so heavily - Da fuq it does! Used VPN only once, from Norton package I had installed as an antivirus. It slowed my computer and when I gained a little more in depth knowledge about it, I decided I needed neither VPN, nor Norton itself. Going Linux and since I am not a dissident or any other similarly vulnerable person, neither accessing foreign content (if they don't want me to see something, their ads won't show to me either LOL), I am fine without VPN. Not paying any subscription except of the usual bills. How about that?

I love my wireless earphones when on a treadmill. No banging of the cable, perfect listening experience. Got them for £40 a few years ago. Apple is a rip off. In the plane I prefer wired ones, easy to drop one and never find it again.

Don't know what exact wording of the contract is with Deleteme or Incogni, but they definitely cannot remove your data from various organisations that must hold your data, like law enforcement, healthcare, insurance and those also get hacked and data ends on the dark web. And those companies have no reach on the dark web whatsoever. So what the people paying for these services pay for is just a plaster over a tumour growing underneath. Worthless. Only delaying inevitable. In fact, the data of most of us probably already is on the dark web so who are the companies trying to fool by selling us this pointless service? Data of thousands individuals can be bought for a few bucks on the dark web. Most of those data via brokers are used for advertising purposes anyway. Turn your adblock on and let them waste their money, whoever buys those data. And don't be a slave to brands that are heavily advertising all across the media platform. It all costs money to advertise. By buying their overpriced stuff you pay for your own data back to them LOL.

Sponsors not only take advantage of people's attachments to creators and creator's excitement, they also take advantage of ignorance, when people simply take the claims in the ads at their face value. You made a great vid about deleteme recently. Someone challenged some details in it, which is great, but overall these sponsorshops are cheaper than big ads in TV or even radio, and most of the time they don't really deliver all they promise. Even a VPN service is just a different channel for all user's data going through and it doesn't guarantee online safety, like many falsely believe. The more heavily something gefs promoted here on yt, the shadier it turns out to be. Kudos to you for steering away from them. Just decided to blacklist LinusTech channel for getting bought by deleteme. Those guys should know better.

Man, I have been waiting for a content like this for ages! I will watch it later, but before that: I am a normie, a better cybersecurity informed normie than most. I always look for the weakest link. And I found it: the dark web and data breaches. Since these services have no way of erasing hackers' databases, paying a tenner or more per month to some company to beg data brokers with legal letters is plain stupid. My data flies over the web back and forth, many institutions that get hacked are untouchable by these services lying that they will delete you from the internet.. adblocks makes most of the data traders waste their money. Most of this circus is for ads. Shoo! I want a clean internet. And so far I have it!

And so I got one of the last phones on the market with a standard headphone jack when I got my latest a couple years ago. And it wasn't Apple, and it wasn't Samsung. It still works fine, as well as with bluetooth headphones. Got some for £40 2-3 years ago. Still working well! Apple is a money grab. Never owned a single item from them and probably never will.
