Last year many issues with Win10, days and weeks of troubleshooting, using cmd and poweshell (me being a normie), ended up reinstalling it (after I managed to extend that recovery partition), and said to myself: if I, an average user, have to jump these hoops with Windows, I can as well try Linux. Thanks to the chatbot it was way less painful than it otherwise would be. Using AI to escape AI LOL.

  6. Yep, I got to the original video becase somebody just posted the reference in their announcements. Suddenly the hell broke loose and I have seen at least 4 others who jumped on the bandwagon to benefit from years of investigation by the guy. And it is jut the beginning. I wonder when will somebkdy pick up on misleading claims of deleteme and similar services. It is also being pushed down my throat by almost every talking head that accepts sponsors. Annoying.

Something goes wrong and the entire company is in trouble. Then we will have folks doing facepalms like: why did you not hire someone who knows how to do things, idiots?   14. They could also disable your device, making it to be ready for a landfill, and issue a new model with some extra chip, something like TMP 2.0 for Windows 11. Most computers sold in the world are Windows and the majority population never used anything else and won't ever. They are obediently upgrading every few years, topping up the landfill, or sending old hardware to Africa for 'recycling', which means stripping the metal of everything else and burning it, creating a supertoxic inferno, meaning a short lifespan for those poor folks living there. Juust recently I revived my old ex vista laptop from late 2000s, cleaning it inside, upgrading RAM and hard drive, applying a thermal paste fresh, replacing a broken hinge, installed xfce Mint and oh boy, I have my old buddy back!

In contrary to the perceprion that everyone can do better maths tody thanks to the smartphones... maybe ask the teachers, how their kids are performing in classrooms, with their brains decaying on Tiktok, unable to retain information of a few lines of text or 7th grade student barely performing at the 3rd grade Math level... Some of us expand our knowledge of the world thanks to having all the info at their fingertips, and I certainly made great progress in computing and switched to Linux thanks tom the chat bot and internet, while others sink down the rabbit hole of social media and seconds long content swiping through with their thumbs for hours at no end.

Utilities have been doing it since I remmember: getting a better deal to switch while lasting customers got rise in price after the cheap period ended. One had to keep hopping from provider to provider to save. Internet, sim deals, bank accounts... and your credit score suffers, but those who understant, those know you are just being savvy.   22. There are predators outside who are hiding and causing damage, also terrorists. What's the fuss about me being occasionally flagged? Soon they find out it is a dead end because I am no such criminal. Feds move on. They have hands full of surveillance of the real villains. Or how do you want them to do their work and protect you? Criminals are getting more and more sophisticated, so the Feds' methods must adapt, too. It is like in nature. To fight off infection you must have a fever for a while. Would you ather be dead, but comfy before the end?

  29. Not me, never used it, never really trusted these. Had a different extension, I don't remember using it for any discount, always going to check prices by hand. Righ now I get better deals directly from the brands than from Scamazon. Not giving any if my extra money to Bezos and Co. And even if it isn't cheaper, especially electronics, I rather pay the brand directly and I have a guarantee it iisn't a fake or returned item without disclosure.

I am sure FBI and other agencies have enough to do with real criminals than monitoring your innocent private messages. If your child got abducted or your family member got shot by a terrorist, you would be the first bashing the services they didn't do more. And you have no idea how many attacks they prevented, that didn't make it to the public attention. Ignorance is a bliss.

  33. Youtube seems to be blurring me videos at times on Brave, too, and I am in the UK. Time for some proper equivalent as a competition. Ebay already removed selling fees from private sellers, which is fantastic. I prefer shopping and selling there at the moment. Scamazon is digging its own grave with its greedy tactics. Genuine sellers should move from Scamazon and let it to the Chinese fakes, which are slowly taking over the platform, again, thanks to the Scamazon's own neglect and greed. Icannot wait for the Ladybird to teach Google a lesson.

  34. What privacy? We need to be told we are being watched and for the vast majority people never get affected. I am happier for Feds to see my data than some RuSSian cyber criminal. There is a price for safety, you know? Once people were bitching about seat belts... that they felt restricted. Those freedoms! How are Feds limiting your life when they have some data on you but you get lost in the ocean of data of others like you? Should the terrorists be on loose in your countdy, or how are you imagining Feds should protect you? Do you have an antivirus package in your computer? Do you mind it reads every file on it?   39. Thanks for this explanation. Even though VPN users would be of interest, if they don't do any illegal activity, they are safe. It's just secret services would waste time on them. On the other hand, if VPN isn't necessary, why paying for it? I have a tendency to resist what is constantly pushed down my throat, like countless channels promoting one VPN or another. I have it with my antivirus. I tried it, for like 5 minutes and then stopped using it. It made my internet sluggish. Using Tor is much more user friendly.

  45. One factor not mentioned: market saturation. They got everyone on board now and there is no growth, just old dropping off while new coming in. Brave and adblocks play a small factor here IMo as most still don't know about them and not using them. Many do pay premium though. But, that stable base of users create more and more data, including AI, with little effort, but it requires more and more storage.

  46. Youtube is full of 💩 hoping to get easy money. Instead of finding a job, many just sit in front of the camera and mic, expecting to get rich. It all costs google billions on servers and power/cooling and we are expected to pay for it? And the sheer and growing content made by AI is ridiculous. Someone initiating it is getting a good buck without moving a finger while the AI content is just a worthless string of randomly allocated sentences and visuals on some popular topic. One after another, pointles regurgitated content over many channels. When you pay your subscription to youtube, you pay for hosting all this nonsense. I have an idea: if creators want to make business here, let's make them invest, like in any other business. If people appreciate them and want them continue, they will chip in. I bought a coffee before, never paid via youtube. I'll rather go back to my plenty dvds and freeview, switching channels on every advert, covering several shows in an hour 😂

  47. Never jumped on the Telegram bandwagon. I learned about Telegram after RuSSia invaded Ukraine and connected it with crime and terrorism. Then I learned a desktop app had a vulnerability last year and people could get hacked. Also a few scambaiters tried it on me with a telegram link. Blocked them straight away. No, I don't need this stuff in my life.

After a couple weeks I launched my Win11pro from a usb on my Linux laptop and was taken by surprise, the screen that welcomed me looked like after a fresh installation, when it wants to install all the bloatware and make a MS account, which that Windoze doesn't have. They almost fooled me thinking I had to reinstall it again. Phew! Stop offering me stuff I refused first time, Windoze. You are like a stalker.
