In the UK you are limited to up to 3 packs of 16x 200mg ibuprofen tablets per purchase. It won't stop you from going to do another purchase in a shop next door, but at least they are trying. In another shop I could only get just 2 packs. And yes, I was advised by a nurse to ramp up my intake to 2 pills 3x a day with food and I felt uneasy about this, still thinking about my poor kidneys, how they were doing.
