£5m for placebo that made some people feel better (and didn't harm them) looks little in comparison to £100m spent on prescription of painkillers that can be purchased for the fraction of the price OTC. And THOSE do have side effects. Using one or the other instead of treatment, i.e. just curbing the symptoms of potentially serious health issues that will be more costly to treat when developing further, is another topic.

Had my delicious dose of glutamate just a moment ago. Had a few tomatoes with my sandwich. Besides, this ingredient is no longer a secret. Most people are aware of it. If you came like 25 years ago with this, maybe it would be relevant, but today... And please double check the pronounciation of Worcester sauce, similarly for the Parmigiano cheese (and I am not even an Italian, neither British). But I grant you the pun about white powder and money making LOL.

Although not on as large scale, but who got an idea to try eating Tide pods?

Evolution is a never-ending process and will last until there will be living organisms. Even the universe underwent some evolution for many years and it perhaps continue evolving all the time. So we are evolving constantly as the environment is constantly changing. So this whole question whether humans will ever evolve again is silly.

My question is: are you a robot? Does your body not do the same when you addressed it only to us? :)

That shrinking in size of the chocolates applies to more products. I have noticed that the recipes from 5 years ago do not match the volume or weight of the products today. More specifically I am talking about tinned tuna. The nett weight of the fish is lower than it was 5 years ago. Saying that, I think the price comparison to the past is not too relevant. Some things today cost more, other less per weight when compared to the past. I see no harm in paying more for less chocolate or crisps though :)

LOL, that unami is actually UMAMI. Did you not go to the uni because you are dyslexic? :)

Regarding the 'facts' about the current situation in Ukraine, I would suggest to dig deeper into the truth who actually started the war there. All clues I am seeing suggest it was orchestrated by the West, not Putin. I am not the Putin's propagandist, if somebody wondered :)

Another thing: the FITTEST has little to do with the fitness we use it today in general.

I do not think this absolutistic title 'you will ever hear' is right. There must be many more such eerie recordings. One can create any amount on their own. It was more the story associated with these recordings. I see no eeriness in the Jupiter sounds though. I was actually expecting some ghost sounds, whether 'real' or made up for the movies.

Before reaching 2 minutes my impression is that some make music for the love of music and others for money and fame. Studios have it calculated what the majority listener wants and keep using similar formula over and over. Sometimes somebody uses a new thing, like women frying their voice and suddenly every other pop singer does it if it stuck before. And then we have Bjork.

I am not surprised that so many people still use homeopathy. Far more of them believe in a sky daddy... and at least this medical quackery has a proved placebo effect, so ... yeah.
