  1. Sometimes one has to make an effort to be environmentally friendly. I have decided not to throw my old ex vista laptop to the bin, I learned working with Linux that literally brought my 16 yo machine back to life. The same for Windows 11 next year. About 240 million computers will suddenly become trash, because Microsoft has decided Win10 will lose support and Win11 is incompatible with these still functional and working computers. That is how corporations are milking us unless we resist. The vast majority of population can work perfectly with open source operating systems but they never will, because Linux doesn't come preinstalled on mainstream computers.

  3. Great. Just make sure you use the right distro for your bit system. 32bit ones are a bit limited and old, but there are options for those too, just I found the youtube jumpy on that one. Luckily mine also takes 64bit, which is a standard. So choose wisely :)

  4. Deleteme? 😂😂😂 what web? The dark web? They have no influence there. Even from data brokers, they decide whether they remove your data or not. Another fool promoting a scam. Save yourself money and turn an adblock on. The vast majority of that data is used to target you with ads.
