  1. Quit Twitter long ago. Where do you go for this AI shite? I haven't seen any of it and I spend on the web quite a lot. Is it a different internet I am going to? Even that glue on pizza was for a photoshoot, not for consumption, I was told.

  2. A colleague once showed me his purse with cash from betting on football. I don't follow sports but after a brief explanation I started betting on football via an app. I gave myself £100 limit: if I lose this amount of my own money, I quit. It was exciting. I won and I lost. Won and lost. Reaching my limit I deleted the app and never looked back. I now work in a different job.

Don't worry, haven't even considered buying any apple product in my life, blocking channels made by AI (those I notice) and escaoing to Linux from AI ridden Windows, thanks to the chatbot (mistakenly called AI for some reason), helping me to understand and troubleshoot things computer, as I have no formal background in computing. The technology is a good servant but a bad boss.

  4. LMAO, never paid for any streaming service, stopped watching most production with made up stories. Not into sports either. Either YT or BBC with no ads in the shows, or iPlayer... OK, the TV license is the only thing we pay for this, otherwise all freeview. I don't think I have missed that much. I do crafting of many sorts and now pulled out my old music on vinyls, casettes and cds. Or dozens gigabytes of music, even my childhood tales I used to listen from LPs when little, digitalised. No ads, no nonsense. For free! I or my parents paid for them long time ago. And we actually own these media. No continuous fleecing for stuff that will be removed from the repos one day.
