We have reached the time where we need to decide on which chair we will sit: either have a truly private communication nobody can really monitor from outside, or you will have online safety and background monitoring of content. You cannot have it both ways at once. At most you can store all this communiation encrypted on some servers and in a case of crime un-encrypt particular part of it and examine for evidence. That would do, but not in the real time.

Social media is here to stay, I'm afraid and happy for it, too. What we need is a better education about how social media work, how to understand ourselves and our needs and not to get shaped by the algorithms, but educate US to be the boss of what we let the algorithm suggest to us. It can be done with the right approach. It is like with driving a car. You firstly have to pass theory test and practical test, before you are let to go off on your own. We need something like this with social media, too.

When a doctor doesn't recognise that a person in front of them is genuinely unwell they should either get extra lessons in a medical school or go to flip hamburgers instead. We don't need covid denialists and we don't need ME denialists. Even if they don't know how to treat the illness, denying an apparent sickness and gaslighting the patients and their families is a big red flag about the docs' ethics.

People in the UK, US and everywhere else must understand that not acting now against Russian aggression will come more costly in the future. Prevention better than cure. It is hard now but it could be much harder if we gave in now. Remember that. When you have a tumour you need to cut it out, even if it hurts. Putting a plaster over it won't treat the disease, it will spread.

@sonofsomerset1695 The march shows to the elected representatives in Britain what the nation wants. If they don't listen to words, people take actions. Israel doesn't need to forgive terrorists. Israel should free the territories it captured illegally since 1967 and keeps doing so as we speak. Back in 1920s militant Zionists were killing Arab civilians with machine guns supplied by the West. Check out Balfour declaration to learn some history. As long as Israel will be a criminal state with all its illegal activities, there will be backlash from the oppressed side. Two wrongs won't make a right, but undoing one wrong can start a dialogue.
