  1. Just beware how expensive jail time is. You would be surprised. And YOU pay for it. Community work is a better way to make offenders think about their practices and attitudes, while doing something beneficial for the society. Prison isn't some magical dimension where people go regretting their mistakes. Many will gain new knowlege for commiting further crimes.
