  1. Re 26 million RuSSian soldiers dead and winning the war: because of the western lend-lease and also western alliances fighting Hitler on their own fronts. Now it is Ukraine getting this support and using it wisely. And the alliances are sort of fighting RuSSia on economic fronts... You don't need to be a genius to see who is going to win this time.

  2. Haven't bought a branded soft drinks for ages. It is either filtered tap water for me, a fizzy cheap one, or for coke I go for cheaper supermarket's generics. I can hardly tell the difference by taste (but my bank account can). Whether the supermarkets pay something to those companies, I don't know, but I am happy to say I don't buy those branded drinks.

  3. Re UFO: why only USA would be of interest of the UFO? Only US had nukes? I see it as one of the biggest scams out there, in the context of extraterrestrial life watching over us. Having strange sightings is possible, but I doubt it is those aliens... Understanding (sort of) the vastness of space, physical limits for space travelling (interstellar), how radio signals blend into the background noise on relatively short distances (interstellar)... human fantasy has far less limits than any civilisation travelling between stars in the vast and deadly space that doesn't want you to survive there.
