  5. I live in the UK and when looking for better interest for savings, funny new names of banks and 'banks' keep popping up. I am not satisfied that they claim they are compliant with FSA and my funds are insured up to £85k per institution. I go to the central register and verify whether this particular business really is registered. And still I am suspicious and don't go with the top givers like 5.17% now, as one resides in Cyprus. Those are speculants. They say the savings are separate from their investments accounts. I still don't trust them. Crooks are everywhere.

  7. Gas prices suppressed, any govt would do it, left or right. Remember how Trump denied covid and pushed for everyone possible going to work? Felon Musk also. Jeff Bezos also. All these crooks only see money, not people behind it. The economy would maybe be a bit better as a result, but with many hundreds thousands Americans less alive. What do you value more: money or your people? This economic struggle is global, don't get fooled. Enjoy your lower gas prices while you can. Many commodities became cheaper, but retail prices keep being high. That isn't a government's fault. It is a corporate price gauging. Trump would probably let you sink much sooner, giving tax breaks and other privileges to the rich, not caring much about yourself. Remember: nobody can give you what Trump can promise you. Although you are dissatisfied now (like everybody else out there, outside America also), vote wisely next month. Biden already got you cheaper insulin, every single one of you, not just a selected age group, which was even voluntary, not compulsory. A lot of misleading propaganda out there. Don't get fooled.

  8. Boeing got caught up in its own web of lies and greed. They outsourced production of crucial components to Asia and the quality of aircraft went down, endangering passengers. A lot of jokes about Boeing emerged at the time when the door opened during flight (one of many similar accidents over the years). Airbus, on the other hand, minds about quality, it has a significant ownership by the governments in Europe, instead of private ownership, and those governments respond to the voter and taxpayer. And it is doing much better while Boeing is going down. Private share responds to the shareholders who only see profit and you have it in your laws, too. Humans are dispensable, profit is what matters to them. At all cost. Now you see how it turned out.
