  1. No subscriptions here. Had some for crafting mags, and that only when they had a sale, like 1 mag for £1. Those 'free' gifts were well incorporated into the price of the mags, the more gifts, the higher the price. Who are they fooling? Mags full of ads for this and that and still paying like £9.99, or even £11.99 for an A4 full of polymer stamps accompanying a bunch of papers. They sell those stamps independently for twice the price of the mag, but really... large volume of sales via mags is perfectly fine to halve the price and still make profit.
