  1. On the hacking note: data brokers are a small portion of data handlers. There are websites we voluntarily give data to, like insurance companies, healthcare, loans... those also get hacked. If you follow certain media, there are several data breaches reported every day. I guess data of most of us are on the dark web already, and we can do nothing about it. Paying to data removal services to remove our data from a narrow group of brokers is pointless IMO. We are only delqying inevitable. Save yourself money and act like your data was stolen already, because it mostly likely was.

  2. Not just adblockers make stuff happen faster on the computer. I have Linux as well as Windows computers. Both have 16GB RAM. I launched Gimp on my Linux yesterday, the bastaurd was ready in one second! On Windows I can go and make myself a cuppa. Even launching a Word document or Excel, at least 7 seconds pass before I see something happening. Sometimes I wonder whether hey will launch at all.
