  1. Waw, was waiting for this! Shame the UK might not follow the suit! And I say it is bollocks that the customer has wished and chosen not being able to replace the ageing battery by themselves. I guess the industry will argue it is to protect the customers so they don't buy dangerous knock-off batteries, like it is often the case with other devices, but seriously, are we going to litter the entire planet with one-off use electronics that can otherwise keep going on just because of a handful stupid folks? Alternatively: why should an authorised change of the battery cost a fortune and how do I have it guaranteed that data breaches won't increase, because with every sending of the device to someone else you risk them looking into your device to check your private data or maybe even installing a malware... You never know. I have seen how a simple software can 'guess' pin codes and get into a pin protected phone in seconds. I don't fancy sending my device to whomever just to have the stupid battery changed.

  2. How many of the pre 2003 phones work on G4? Because G3 is being outphased. So sooner or later you won't really have a choice.
