I would just uninstall the app, if I am able to program the night heating manualy etc. Our boiler came with an app control, but we also have a physical console operating wirelessly. I'll go to see whether I can program the boiler physically. If not, our next one will go through a better scrutiny, because I didn't expect even this one coming with an app. I got it recommended by a gas engineer who was here when the old boiler broke in November a few years ago. The new tech took me by surprise, but I have learned a lesson or two since. Still resisting a smart meter.
