  1. How is this in the EU? EU has a history of forbidding companies screwing up the customers like this. One effective law could stop this trap. Whatever the rules of companies, statutory rights always take precedence. I got a refund for a poorly designed exercise equipment. The law said I determined how I wanted the refund: original payment method, not their store credit with limited time window to claim it, via another purchase. That was years ago and UK is now out of EU and we have self serving bunch of crooks in the govt.
