  1. Backdoor is a double edged sword. Good for catching criminals hiding in the cyber space (could be grooming your offspring without you knowing), bad for everything else. Many folks freaking out over govt surveilance overestimate their importance for the agencies. That in the free democratic world. I don't care if FBI scans my private communication. I care that they are tracing terrorists and C abusers. If you fear the censorship and authoritarian government, vote better at the elections. Right now the US elected a man who promised this was the last elections in the US. Let's see how that turns out over the next 4 years.
