  1. As I see it, this is much bigger than just Hamas attacking Israel to stop Palestinians being eradicated. I am afraid Hamas doesn't care much about Palestinians. Hamas has become a self serving, enlarged hand of the enemies of Israel, Palestinians or not. Hamas has got support from many terrorist regimes, Iran starting and Russia ending. And yes, Israel is not an innocent victim here, acting like a terrorist itself for decades, targetting civilians for political gains. It is very messy there, and it would be much easier to take sides if Israel was innocent in that matter. Israel relly has little to criticise others for. Unforuntely it is alwas the civilians that pay the price.

  2. The western powers have an interest in Israel serving as their elongated hand in the Middle East and stuff will be permitted for Israel to do what they won't allow to others. If you learn the history, well before WW2, you will find out that it was more of a Christian Zionism that stood behind this idea of Jews concentrated in the Middle East, than the idea of the majority of Jews themselves. This idea, then pushed by the west, fell onto their lap like a Christmas present and some grabbed it. I say some, because Orthodox Jews reject Israel as anti-Jewish. There is nothing in their writing about nationalism, but their faith stand on 'thou shall not kill' and 'thou shall not steal', literally the opposite what enabled Israel to exist as it is today. And so we have it pushed into our heads that Jews have the right for their own state (initiated by non-Jews as they needed them there and partially also getting rid of them in Europe, i.e. antisemitic Zionism) and if you disagree you are labelleda s antisemite. So are probably the hundreds thousands orthodox Jews rejecting Israel and standing with Palestine.
