This is what comes to my mind when I hear about your senator doing media work, and our Tories being frequent on right-wing channels like GB News or TalkTV. Just propaganda channels and Tory ministers interview there Tory ministers. Figure that out! Our celebrity and ex MP Nadine Dorries was avoiding her duties in the constituency, where she didn't show up for like 3 years, didn't do any work in parliament for over a year, but was frequent on the screen, either giving interviews or trying it in front of a camera herself, which went very badly.

  27. Racism being a learned behaviour isn't that straightforward. Ethnocentrism is pretty innate in us, it meant a survival advantage, not trusting unfamiliar and sticking to your tribe. If you grew up in exclusively white society, you would be suspicious against differently looking people and that not because you learned to be a racist, but because you were not conditioned into accepting all physical differences from a young age. The same goes from the perspective of other ethnics towards whites. Weren't the conquistadors considered as ghosts with their pale skin by native tribes, wherever they went? Saying that, Trumpsters have no reason to be racists in this day and age. On the other hand, I remember an advert by BBC, looking for non-white job candidates to increase their ethnic diversity. We need to be careful not to throw a baby with the bath water when trying to be fair.

The same for folks in RuSSia and even abroad following RuSSian state propaganda media. They don't follow independent sources. They live in an echo chamber, many never learned the local language to know better. In Germany there was a RuSSian expat who came to Germany in 1980s, before Pootin took the reign, and they still support Pootin, having no idea about the real life in RuSSia, enjoying all those freedoms and quality of life in Germany, but barely learning German language. Pootin will fix the country - how, when it was him plunging it into misery? Propaganda.
