Not just Chinese EV. Cybertruck also recalled almost 4000 vehicles for faulty speed pedal that got stuck to the max speed, unable to bring it back during driving. These tech companies keep pushing and overpromising, wanting to be the first on the market, or get an edge, just to face humiliation soon after that they didn't test it properly and stupid failures occur.

lotfy vs lofty: apparently somebody wrote a script, made a typo and the automated voiceover read it as such. LMAO. The funny part is that some AI might find this lotfy word and keep using it from then on. Because there is little intelligence in AI.

3:20 reminds me some rail transport in England, UK. At peak times you often don't fit into the train, you have to wait for another, the platforms are sometimes too short, or not enough wagons coming to accommodate for the whole crew that wants to get to work or school in the morning, regular cancellations, in the summer it is too hot, when it rains, it is water on tracks, in autumn it is leaves and in winter half cm snow can lead to disruption. For how expensive it is in comparison to some other European services it is a disgrace. And behold, British commuters are subsidising cheaper European public transport in their expensive tickets for unreliable services.

Tiktok provably curbed content critical of China and CCP, comparing with Instagram. Other western political issues were almost identically suggested by the algorithm and viewers exposed to them. CCP is interfering with what Tiktok users see.

@chrisjlee2013 On the side note: there has been an overproduction of EVs of all kinds, now rotting on idle, unsold, China flooding market with its own subsidised electric coffins... I don't see it too positive that all those $100k and over (i.e. expensive) cybertrucks will have a high demand either.

Re pirated cds and dvds... in a standalone player they may be safe, in the past, but pirated can come with all sorts of malware these days, so anything pirated you put into your PC or similar device, it is at your own risk. You may lose way more than if you purchased the legit copy.

I love the irony here: China wants to take an independent country by force, but blackmails others that they are playing with fire when they put a foot on the land that can decide for itself, without the approvals of China. Sort of reminds me Putin's complaints that USA is directly involved in Ukraine... like if he wasn't for the past 20 years, messing up with internal politics of an independent country with previously bilaterally agreed borders. On the side note, Mock the Week show is ending soon, saying they cannot make the news any more funny. The jigsaw clicks together pretty well LOL.
