@sagebrushcraftco.351 no, there are certain rules to declassify. he didn't follow them. His opinion that 'thinking about it is enough' is ridiculous. And even if he declassified certain top secret documents, it doesn't mean its right! if he has top secret nuclear secrets lying around in his beach house for visitors from other countries to see, that is THE MOST damaging thing for the US ever.

@kcox593 that is totally ridiculous. it means that if a president becomes insane, or is blackmailed, he can turn over evry secret to the enemy, without penalty?? do you understand the implications of what you state?? luckily, this is the truth: by law, extensive consultation is required with executive branch agencies. In all cases, however, a formal procedure is required so governmental agencies know with certainty what has been declassified and decisions memorialized.
