FB is forbidden in China. Seems you are 'un aware'.

@DEATH_TO_TYRANTS I don't need to know how you voted. Even if you didn't vote, it is still your fault. because you blame the government. and in a democracy, is is your responsability to vote for good politicians. So, I still need to repeat myself: it's your fault. Nobody else's. You!
2
on the contrary! FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.
2
no!!! FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism. stopping section 230 is pure communism.
1
you can't. FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.
1
it doesn't matter. FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.

@sharkgrayc7z06corvette9 nah, it's a private company
1
@sharkgrayc7z06corvette9 so, it's a private company. You like to lose this discussion beforehand, go ahead. For 2 weeks i have these discussions about Big Tech, I win them all.
1
@sharkgrayc7z06corvette9 here; read this, so you are not confused anymore: Private versus government Often, people use the term “public” interchangeably with “government” when referring to companies. This can be misleading because a public company means that shares of the company are able to be bought and sold on the public market. These companies are also more heavily regulated by government entities like the SEC, but the government doesn't own them.
1
no! you most certainly can't! that is communism in it's purest form! FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.

and then you woke up

@JeepCherokeeful yes, they can
1
@JeepCherokeeful they most certainly can. aren't you following the news; they are doing it, and you are not stopping them.
1
never! FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.
1
@DEATH_TO_TYRANTS then blame the government, not the private companies. You voted for that government, so YOU are to blame. Yes, I repeat: you are 100% responsible. I repeat, so there is no misunderstanding: it's your fault. Do i have to repeat it again?
1
@Realnewsalways615 Don't bother me with the 'this election is rigged' BS, ok? Go attack the capitol again if you believe that.
1
@Realnewsalways615 Don't bother me with your personal regrets and misery. i don't CARE!
1
@DEATH_TO_TYRANTS yes, you blame the government. This is literally what you wrote: 'government writing laws to protect certain entities in an industry, but not others (see Parler)'. Did you mean this in a good way? you think the government should keep on doing this? Now again: what is incorrect about my 'claim' about capitalism. I just stated that a private company can do whatever it wants (in this case setting up their club rules). what is incorrect about that?

FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.

really? people will fallow?

@erictyson5947 Really? How does it work? entrepeneurs take risks, and work very hard to make a company succesful. And when they arrive at their goal, other people, who didn't take any risk or effort, swoop in and get to say what the company can or cannot do? Is that what you think how a business works?
1
@erictyson5947 wow, the argument from authority! I didn't know people are still falling for that fallacy. ...FB operates 100% within the law. What laws did they break?
1
FB is a private company. They can do whatever they want. long live capitalism.

1
@FGF-om6nm yea, i know. So? the shareholders have their say. that's not in dispute. why is it 'selling off badly'?
1
@vanessakammerer5602 i don't really know what you mean, but if you think capitalism 'works for everybody', then you are wrong.
1
eh?? what?
1
@bondpit8750 still, FB is free. adn no, the users are not the product, they are humans.
1
@bondpit8750 what you tell me is not a secret. For nobody. if you join FB, you know that. it's very very easy to avoid that. don't join FB and Twitter. like i do. problem solved. or, you can ignore the ads that target you. also problem solved.
1
no, they are not. Did they prevent you from deleting your account?
