"I'd agree with him in advance." There is no way this country is ever going to have democratic institutions with a mentality like this. Amazing.

James.P Hahahaha. Sounds archaic. And of course ridiculous. Not much of a student of history, are you?

I love the guy who says that power affects everything in society down to how the metro functions, but that he shouldn't be involved in at all. He should only worry about himself and his family...Wtf??😂

James.P What??🤦♂️How can you trust that the strong leader knows exactly what is best for the country now??

James.P Whooosh!!!!!!

This is a clear pattern.

@АлександрДухин-р3ц What do you think about the fact that so many Russians are comfortable with a police state and enthusiastically support autocratic czar-like rulers?

@АлександрДухин-р3ц You have nothing. SHOCKING

@АлександрДухин-р3ц Well, exactly. Do you practice this yourself?

@AG-vb6vv Have two big spoonfuls of vodka, go back to bed, and dream of North Korea.

@YorkerEli Are you angry or something?

They would be honored

@MrJdsenior The oppression machine is very sophisticated. On the other hand it really does seem to be a very brainwashed mentality that the common person has zero power and should not even imagine that they could have any kind of say in anything. The experts in government will take care of everything.

James.P You really are clueless. Russian?

James.P Nothing to do with novelty. Everything to do with the evils that result for a society and its neighbors if the government is autocratic. The point, that is totally lost on you, is that Russia will never enjoy the benefits of democratic institutions because too many Russians, like yourself, don't understand democracy and yearn deeply for a daddy ruler man to tell them what to do and think.

James.P Funny how you have to conjure crazy scenarios like this in an attempt to persuade. It’s laughable. You have no idea how much you embarrass yourself and your culture.

@YorkerEli I am absolutely entitled to my opinion, and so are you. What a ridiculous point of view. And pretty bizarre, too. I’m sure if you were watching interviews with Americans in 2005 about the invasion of Iraq you would have judgments about their beliefs about what their country was doing on the world stage. Why? Because those actions don’t occur in a vacuum; they have consequences and implications worldwide. Get it?
